Sewer & Drain Cleaning
How do you know when you need a sewer or drain cleaning service? Signs to look for: you have slow drains throughout the house, a stopped toilet, a drain is backing up with water, your garbage disposal clogs, your toilet is overflowing, or the waste pipe in the basement is leaking. We are well stocked with sewer and drain cleaning equipment to get your drains flowing freely again. The key to a healthy system is to clean it out on a regular basis. Stinky’s Septic recommends every 3 years for the average household.
Video Pipe Inspections
If your pipes aren’t draining properly, you might have a cracked sewer line, or maybe tree roots grew into the line, or a pipe might be broken. There may be a clog from grease build up. All of these can cause major problems. The only way to find out what has happened is to do a video pipe inspection. Stinky’s Septic Service has the equipment and technology to diagnose the problem and fix it ASAP.
High Pressure Pipe Jetting
What is water jetting? High-pressure water jetting is an efficient, economical, and environmentally safe way to clean drain and sewer pipes. Using state-of-the-art pumps and flexible hoses, ordinary water is propelled under varying amounts of pressure into the sewer line. A special nozzle mounted on the end of a heavy-duty hose has an array of forward and reverse water jets, which direct extremely powerful concentrated streams of water all the way to the pipe walls. Even the toughest blockages and buildup cannot stand up to water jet cutting, which thoroughly cleans pipes.
Regular water jet maintenance keeps drain lines flowing in restaurants and other commercial establishments typically require frequent high-pressure water jetting to remove mineral deposits, grease buildup, sludge and debris that accumulate in the lines. Clogs can cause down time, and down time in any industry means lost customers and revenue.
Some businesses may require just one or two cleanings annually, while others benefit from monthly or quarterly cleanings. That’s why many of our customers prefer to set up a scheduled program for water jetting service that keeps their drains flowing freely. We can recommend a jetting service schedule that best meets the needs of your business.
Water jet machine service, just one of the septic services offered by Stinky’s, means cleaner pipes, which means fewer service calls, less down time, overall cost savings and one less thing for you to worry about. Jetting is also used to clean septic laterals. We open up the distribution box and clean out the sludge build-up. This process can help prolong the life of your septic system.
Repair Failing Septic Systems
Why do Septic Systems fail? Poor installation, improper maintenance, tree roots, hydraulic (water) overload, high-strength waste, seasonal groundwater table, physical damage, etc. Proper investigations determine the most likely cause of the failure, which determines the best option for repairing the system. At Stinky’s Septic Service, we determine the reason why your septic system is failing and provide the best solution. We understand a costly system replacement is the last resort, and we do our best to prolong your septic systems life.
Sand Mound Pumps
If you have a failing grey water pump and need it replaced, Stinky’s can help. Regardless of the voltage of size of the pump Stinky’s has you covered. We also repair float assemblies, inlet/outlet baffles, and install effluent filters.
Septic Tanks Pumped & Backflush
We recommend cleaning your septic tank every 3 years (average household). Your septic system is a living thing. Millions of bacteria and enzymes are constantly working to break down solid waste. Our septic pumping price includes one backwashing. Backwashing is when liquid is pumped from the tank, then pumped back in to break up the solids layer at the bottom. Then the entire contents are pumped out.
Tips that will help keep your system healthy:
- Do not pour any fats, oils, or grease down drains
- Use minimal amounts of household cleaners and detergents (Products that kill bateria in your home, kill the bateria in your septic tank too)
- Do not flush feminine hygene products down the toilets
- Do not flush baby wipes, floss, or prophylactics down the toilets
- Do not drive over or park on any part of the spectic system
- Do not plant deep rooted plants near or on the septic system
Basement and Sewer Ejector Pumps
Is there an alarm sounding in your basement? When you have a bathroom in your basement it pumps the water up to the septic system or city sewer. These systems have an alarm that lets you know when a problem may be happening. If your ejector pit alarm is going off, time to call Stinky’s Septic!
Septic mound systems also have a pump to push the waste water up to the raised field in your yard. When the water level in the tank is too high, an alarm sounds in your basement letting you know to call Stinky’s Septic to find out what the problem is.
Sewer Lines Repaired & Replaced
Our septic services include repairing and/or replacing septic and sewer lines. If you have an old sewer line with signs of wear, replace them before it’s too late. When you notice drainage problems, clogs, or backups, call Stinky’s to fix the problem. Stinky’s Septic Service can clear lines of roots, grease, and clogs. We use our cameras to find what and where the problem is. That saves us time and you money!
Septic Laterals
The septic laterals are where the wastewater filters down through the soil and back into the water table. If you have a septic system that is more than 10 years old, it is important to have these pipes jetted to prevent backups and other greater potential problems. Our jetting machines clean out all the sludge that has built up over the years.
